Summer Day Program-Information & Registration
The Summer Day Program (SDP) runs in weekly sessions with a different theme featured each week. The program hours are 8:45 AM-3:45 PM Monday-Friday with the option to enroll in extended morning hours and/or afternoon hours for an additional fee. It is held at the RJ Grey Junior High and uses various outside locations throughout the main school campus. Daily activities include camp meetings, swimming in the A-B High School Pool, Music & Drama, Cooperative Games, Arts & Crafts, and a variety of special programs & offerings throughout the summer.
The program is open only to students who will enter Grades 1-6 in August 2026 and who are enrolled in the A-B school district.

$50 registration fee: one-time, non-refundable per child fee
Morning Extended Hours: $36 Session 1, $45 Sessions 2-6
Afternoon Extended Hours: $44 Session 1, $55 Sessions 2-6

There has been overwhelming interest in the Entering Grade 1 sessions this year, and most sessions are now full with waitlists. Please add your child to the waitlist & proceed to the "checkout" step to complete the waitlist process. While we're unable to predict if or when openings may occur, we will reach out if a spot opens.
Spots are limited and registration is on first-come, first-served basis. Registration is weekly only for both weekly and extended hours sessions; there is not a daily rate. Payment is required at the time of registration; payment plans can be arranged by contacting us at summerday@abschools.org
