The Summer Day Program runs in weekly sessions with a different theme featured each week. Daily activities include camp meetings, Music & Drama, Cooperative Games, Arts & Crafts and a variety of special programs and offerings throughout the summer. Children are grouped in cabins according to grade level. This is a fun-filled and exciting experience, giving children lasting memories and developing a real sense of community. The program is open only to students entering Grades 1-8 and who attend school in the Acton-Boxborough district.
The program will be held at the RJ Grey Junior High and use various outside locations throughout the main school campus. Children should bring a lunch & snack, water bottle, bathing suit and cap, and a towel each day. Children will swim daily in the A-B High School pool.
Spots are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child. You must register separately for each session your child will attend. Payment is required at the time of registration; payment plans can be arranged if needed by contacting us at [email protected].
The program hours are 8:45am to 3:45pm with the option to enroll in extended morning and/or afternoon hours for an additional fee as shown below.
• AM Extended Hours (7:30 - 8:45 am): $45 sessions 1 & 3-7| $27 for Session 2
• PM Extended Hours (3:45 - 6:00 pm): $55 sessions 1 & 3-7 | $33 for Session 2
A refund of 90% will be issued for cancellations up to one week before the session start date. No refunds will be given within one week or less of the session start date.
