Driver Education

The next Driver Ed class will be held Tuesdays & Thursdays, February 23-April 13 Mondays & Wednesdays, 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Click here to register for the class.

The next Driver Ed RMV-Mandated Parent Meetings will be held as follows:
Tuesday, February 9, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Wednesday, April 14, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

NOTE (as of July 22, 2020): Due to the current backlog of students waiting to complete their driving lessons, new students may not be able to begin their in-car instruction until January. This could be subject to change, if we are again required to further limit or pause in-car instruction.

The Registry of Motor Vehicles is making many changes to its procedures for obtaining a learner's permit, scheduling license exams, obtaining a REAL ID, etc.  Please visit the RMV website for updates regarding RMV - COVID-19 Information.

Each Driver Ed class has 15 modules. The full list of topics covered in each session can be found here.

The Registry of Motor Vehicles requires parents to attend a parent education class BEFORE their child can schedule any in-car driving or observation sessions.

Upcoming Parent Meeting

For the time being, parent meetings will be conducted online. Pre-registration is required. A link to the meeting will be sent only to parents who have registered by 5 pm one day prior to the meeting date.

Parent meetings are FREE for parents of children in our Driver Ed Program. At this time we are no longer taking parents whose children are not a student of A-B Community Ed. Driving School.
